First, determine the square footage of your room.*

Treat the room as a square or rectangle and measure the widest part of the room (width) and the longest part of the room (length). (Make sure to include the size of any closets or nooks in your measurement.)

Now, Calculate Square Footage of Somerset Hardwood Flooring Needed*

Total Square Footage Needed for Room:
Note: If you are installing only one width, select Width #1 only. For random width installations (for example, if you are installing a pattern of alternating widths of 3”, 4” and 5”), select the width for each (up to three widths)

(Calculations are derived as follows:  (Total Square Footage ÷ by Total of Widths Used)
x Width in Question = SQ FT of Width Needed + 5% added as a waste factor = Total SQ FT Needed.)
